Present Tense (Regular Verbs)
The idea is to build up a solid foundation in order to express yourself in basic and common situations.

How long does it take to prepare for the TEF exam?
The amount of time it takes to prepare for the TEF (Test d’Évaluation de Français) exam can vary depending on several factors, including your current level of French proficiency, your language learning goals, and how intensively you study. Here’s a general guideline:
CLB 4 or 5: If you’re starting from scratch or have very basic French skills, you may need several months of consistent study to reach a level where you can comfortably handle the TEF exam. A realistic timeframe could be 9 to 12 months of regular study.
CLB 7: If you already have a foundation in French and aim to achieve an intermediate level, you might need an extra 6 months of focused preparation.
It’s important to note that everyone’s learning pace is different, and your commitment to daily practice, study materials, and access to language resources can significantly impact your preparation timeline.
At Learn French in Vancouver, we offer specialized training designed to help you achieve a B2 level within six months of completing My French Transformation. Please note, that the school does not guarantee specific results for the TEF exam, as success depends on each student’s individual effort and dedication.
How to prepare for the TEF exam?
If you already have an intermediate or advanced level in French and feel ready to prepare for the exam, you will be able to start preparing for the TEF exam levels CLB7+.
We give you all the tools and guidance to succeed during this course, but please remember the preparation for the TEF exam requires a lot of studies on your side to reach the levels CLB 5-7. Keep it up and follow our program, complete all the homework and extra activities. On top of this preparation, it is highly recommended to immerse yourself in French culture by watching French movies and listening to French podcasts as you also need to understand French.
