Lea

Lea was born in Tours, France, a city famed for its Loire Valley castles. Growing up in a family that hosted international students, she was inspired to one day open her own French language school.

After earning a Master’s in International Business, Lea moved to Australia in 2010 and worked for Atout France, promoting French destinations globally. During this time, she enjoyed showcasing the beauty of destinations like Paris, the French Riviera and Tahiti.

In 2017, Lea moved to Canada. After completing the DAEFLE diploma with CNED and the Alliance Française de Paris, she created the “French Transformation” program and began teaching French to Canadian and international students in Vancouver.

What started as a passion project quickly grew into a reputable school, with a team of fantastic French teachers and over 4,000 students having learned French at ‘Learn French in Vancouver,’ including many who have prepared for the TEF exam to earn extra points towards Canadian residency.

Aurelie

Aurélie (alias Lily) is from Chantilly, a beautiful city located 40km North of Paris, well-known for its delicious “Chantilly = whipped cream”! When she was 16, she moved with her family to Spain and her passion for foreign languages and traveling started to grow. After graduating from Law school, Aurelie decided to pursue her passion for traveling and visited many countries, among them: Japan, New-Zealand, Australia and Mexico.

This journey took her to Vancouver, Canada where she decided to share her passion for languages and teach French with us at Learn French in Vancouver! She speaks fluently French, English and Spanish and is learning Italian, Japanese and Mandarin! She also enjoys playing the guitar and teaches French songs to our lovely students!

Eloise

Eloïse was born in the southern part of Belgium, close to the border with the French département Nord-Pas-de-Calais where the plot of the film “Bienvenue chez les Ch’tis” is set.

After graduating in Modern Languages (English and German) in 2013, she spent five years and half in Austria where she taught French in Mozart’s beautiful birthplace, namely Salzburg. She then moved to Canada and lived in Manitoba for about two years before recently settling in BC. She loves meeting new people, reading, cycling, hiking in the mountains, swimming in lakes and feels very excited about exploring BC’s stunning nature.

She is passionate about languages (her New Year’s resolution is to brush up on her Modern Greek!) and enjoys teaching and helping students achieve their full potential in French.

Marion

Hello everyone! I’m Marion, originally from Rouen, a charming city just an hour away from Paris, where I spent all my childhood weekends. After completing my master’s degree, I chose Vancouver to fulfill my Canadian dream, and teaching my language while sharing my culture is an even more rewarding experience for me. Sharing is at the core of my passion, having previously worked in an association with people from various nationalities.

Beyond teaching, I particularly enjoy gastronomy, nature, and sports activities. However, what excites me the most is creating a safe and positive environment for my students. I want them to feel comfortable and inspired during my classes. I’m looking forward to sharing my culture and language with you!

Marion teaches the following classes:

Noelie

Noëlie is from Bourges, a well-known city for its music festival and architecture in France. After graduating with a Master’s degree in Sociology/Public policies, she decided to discover life abroad. In 2012, she starts a new chapter in Vancouver. Discovering the multicultural life and how French could be an asset, she decided to become a professional French Tutor.

On the side, Noëlie enjoys writing articles about culture, society, or stories. She worked for a local newspaper before being a freelance writer. Words always take place in her life in order to connect with people.

Working for different schools, she has been a certified DELF-DALF A1-C1 examiner and corrector since 2017. Sharing a language means sharing culture for her, building bridges to discover each other in some other ways. She considers learning a language is an exchange opening new perspectives.

Sabrina

Sabrina is a French Canadian woman born in a small village in Montebello, Québec. After she got her high school diploma, she went to college and got her diploma in Languages.

In 2016, she followed her first love: la langue française, and went one year in Whitecourt (Alberta) to assist the teachers of the French immersion program by doing learning games for the kids (kindergarten to grade 9).
After this awesome experience, Sabrina came back to Montebello to be a substitute teacher for a year before going back to the West, this time, to Vancouver in 2018 where she mainly does French tutoring.

Sabrina likes adventure, laughing, learning about cultures, languages, and food. She loves to meet new people and learn from them. She speaks French, English, a little bit of Spanish, and now, learning Thai, Japanese, and Korean. wow!

Her students (mainly kids and teenagers), feel at ease with her and feel proud of what they’ve improved.

Anne

Native of Paris, Anne blossomed amidst the sun-soaked landscapes of the gorgeous and culture-rich South-west of France, infused with a deep-seated passion for education, empowerment, and exploration. Anne moved to Canada about 20 years ago and lived in different parts of the country (Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and in BC for the last 10 years).

She studied Business and Management and after a career in tech, she felt a calling to make a change and transitioned her career to education. She is a dedicated Business and French instructor. Anne is deeply passionate about unlocking students’ potential and the mysteries of the French language for eager learners. She is a true wanderlust at heart and adores traveling and often teaches classes from different countries! She also loves food, learning new languages, hiking, SUPing, exploring nature and watch rugby!
